O knihe

Surrounded by taboos on all sides: her birth, her virginity, her (prolonged) celibacy, her divorce and her illness (especially mental), the woman is often abused both by her relatives, by her husband, or by strangers in the street... Engaging in a dialogue about sexuality is an "impossible", by individuals in open spaces or by professionals, because it is an intimate impediment and a considerable cultural barrier. The 'impossible' is all the greater when violent sexual acts strike at the sacred bonds of parenthood/paternity embodied in incestuous father/daughter relationships, sexual abuse and rape. In these cases, the inadequacy of representativeness (linguistic and language deficiencies, lack of symbolization) is enormous, it is a question of the "unspeakable". Faced with the unspeakable, "the runaway" takes 'the floor' and obliges us to listen. The elopement of the daughter from the parental home questions the relational climate and the type of intra-familial treatment, but also questions the cohesion of society.
