O knihe

The monograph is devoted to the study of the difficulties of mental formation of the child, arising not only in the form of fears, anxiety and inner restlessness and quite common in childhood, but also in the form of depressive syndromes, which are reflected in the formation of the child's mind and often behind such diagnoses as attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), mental retardation (ADHD), etc. The connection between these disorders in children arising in the oedipal phase and those arising in the earlier phase, the phase of symbiosis with the mother, has been studied. In particular, the relationship between maternal depression and child depression is identified. The object of this study is children from birth to latent age. The subject of the analysis is the emotional life of the child, which is in constant flux and in a state of relative integration and disintegration, as well as growth as a result of mastering anxiety. In this way, insight is gained into the child's complex mental life, his limited ability to contain the destructive elements of his nature, his need to use his mother as the person (the Other) "on" and "into" whom he projects his aggression and anxiety.
