Follow the life of Salima "Sally" Serajul. While in Canada, Salima meets Rohingya Muslim immigrants, her father's people, and begins to reconnect with her cultural heritage. While at Carleton University, Salima meets Omar Gemeda, a handsome Ethiopian student. Sparks fly between them but Omar's sister Khadija Gemeda, Salima's business school rival, won't have it.
