O knihe

Theatre pedagogical work takes effect in situations in which more traditional forms of social work are not possible. This is due to their pedagogical indirectness. It places art at the centre, not a deficit, a problem to be solved. Thus it is a kind of "by-the-way socialisation" that initially aims only at the experiences of the individual in acting. As a method of free child and youth work, theatre pedagogy is involved in teaching children and young people skills that are difficult to acquire in a traditional educational system - these include empathy, role distance, expressiveness, flexibility and language training, not to mention self-confidence. Theatre pedagogy creates - without a raised index finger - education. Through playful illustration/representation of one's own reality, it helps the individual to become aware of social and political everyday life and to have a say in the design of a new world. Theatre work is about education, about enlightenment, about the emergence of a responsible attitude on the part of each individual. Artificial intelligence was used to translate this book.
