O knihe
In the last few years, demand of petroleum based product is increasing day by day. With the depletion of fossil fuels, prices of crude oil are increasing day by day. Thus there is a great need to find an alternative which can fulfill the increasing demand and results in less fuel consumption and pollution. Now-a- day¿s biodiesel is making its place as a future fuel. Stating material such as so, rapeseed, corn, coconuts, jatropha, karanja, and even used cooking oil are used to create a fuel that is clean burning, and low in sulphur. Biodiesel can be used as a fuel alternative (B100) or as blend with petroleum based diesel fuel. When biodiesel is blended with petroleum based diesel, it results in addition of lubricity, a desirable feature, decreased when sulphur is removed. Thermal Barrier coatings (TBC) are materials that are applied on the metallic surfaces, such as on engine components, operating at elevated temperatures. These coatings when applied on engine components, serve to insulate components from large heat loads by utilizing thermally insulating materials.
