Results: The mean age of our patients was 77.94 ± 7.198 years. Venous thromboembolic complications were observed in 85.3% of patients represented by PE in all cases. Venous thromboembolic complications were observed in 85.3% of patients represented by PE in all cases. Arterial TTE was noted in 14.7% of patients, represented by thoracic (60%) and abdominal (40%) TTE. Mechanical ventilation was required in 8.8% of patients. The outcome was fatal in 70.6% of patients. Conclusion: In the absence of effective treatment, prevention of TTE is necessary to improve prognosis.
