Upper limb, especially the cubital fossa, is a common site for obtaining venous blood for analysis, transfusion, and intravenous therapy. This is done by using superficial veins, which are prominent and accessible. These veins include cephalic vein (CV), basilic vein (BV), median cubital vein (MCBV), and median antebrachial vein (MABV).
