Nowadays transmission system is mostly interconnected and power sharing between the lines leads to overloading of transmission lines. Transmission line overloading can be avoided by installing flexible AC transmission system (FACTS) devices in the system. In this book we tried the platform that is using virtual reality to help power engineers to find best suitable location for placement of FACTS devices to improve voltage profile.
