A number of Almanacs, prior to 1800, which were advertised in the early newspapers, or listed in bibliographical works, have not survived. These have been included in this list and the source of information noted.
Every copy found of each Almanac has been credited in this list, making the rarity of each item apparent, and for the purpose of listing all printers and booksellers the full imprints of the Almanacs have been copied.
