The story was inspired by a joke Sharrie Wright told to her two grandsons when 'baby- sitting'. The children were aged 4 and nearly 6 years at the time. They found the spoken tale, laugh out loud hilarious! This gave Sharrie the idea of accompanying each stage of the story with paintings of the characters up to their tricks.
