"Wilder: A Social Justice Phantasy," is a thought experiment that explains in a logical, easy to read manner a concept of social justice that is based on personal responsibility (Sartre), rationality (Kant), and fairness (Rawls). The setting for the experiment is inside a mother's womb; The characters are fetuses who do not know what their inborn traits are, or what type of society they will be born into. From this "original position," a rational theory of social and political justice is developed, which hopefully will contribute to a better, fairer world.
