First article. I believe in God. We must believe explicitly that there is one God, and that in this God there are three persons, each of whom is God. That there are not three gods, but only one God. That the three persons are called the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
The Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. We must explicitly believe in the creation of all things, and consequently in the omnipotence of God.
