The sedimentological references during the twenty century (Pettijohn, Blatt, Selly, Tucker, Krombein, concerned with the dynamic movements and hydraluics of sediments and their geochemical and biochemical characters as well. All their studies focused on American, Europe, and Australian land sediments. During the last 50 years the egyptian sedimentologists concerned with the egyptian sediments in Upper and Lower Egypt, Delta, River Nile, Western and Eastern Deserts, Sinai and depressions. Egyptian sedimentologists are used to apply, for example the classification of sediments according to Folk, had not to do with the nature of the Egyptian sediments in particular. In this text, the author will focused perciousely on the nature of the Egyptian sediments which from my point of view is quiet as different and unique as the River Nile has. In this text the author will spoting firstly on how the egyptian sediments be formed from different depositional environments in Egypt starting with definitions for the beginners and to assist them in learning the important basic concepts in sedimentology.
