Our next article treats of surveying, and it is presumed the reader will find it a complete, though concise system thereof. The several instruments now in use, and the methods of adjusting them, are described in order; and I think it will appear evi dent, froma View of those of the best-construction, that large estates may be surveyed and plotted with greater accuracy than heretofore.
