At a meeting of the Young Men of the Essex Street Congregational Society, held in the Vestry on Monday evening, the first instant, the undersigned were appointed a committee to request of you, for publication, a copy of the discourse delivered by you, on Sabbath morning last, on the decease of the Hon. Daniel Webster.
In performing this pleasant duty, allow us to express individually our earnest desire, that you will be pleased to comply with the urgent request of your young parishioners.
It is our sincere prayer to our Heavenly Father, that you may be Spared yet many years to your ¿ock; and we assure you, that we shall at all times delight to assist and cheer you in your labors.
