Agricultural Sustainability

Sustainable agriculture has gained acceptance as a conceptual approach for shaping farming system of the future. Sustainability in agricultural systems addresses about many wider dimensions of ecological security, economic efficiency and social equity. A small area faces wide inequality, improper management and overexploitation of natural resources and explosion of population. These have created a threat to ecological balance and economic as well as social status of households in the region. Sustainable Agriculture became a dominant global concern for livelihood improvement and environmental stability.
