O knihe
Literary devices refer to specific aspects of literature. Broadly, speaking literature expresses ideas through language, which the readers recognize, identify, interpret and analyze. Literary writers use different devices in order to convey their meanings in a comprehensive manner. Allegory is an important device, which has been used by the writers from centuries, It is an extended metaphor, it is a story in which fictional characters, incidents and actions are presented before the readers, then it is up to the readers to think over it, understand its different aspects of conceptual relation to human beings and ideas of the story which the writer has intended to impart. Allegory is a form writing in which characters, plots, setting are symbolic and they are used to teach a moral lesson to the readers. As Renaissance authors used to say, "Allegory is the captain of all rhetorical figures of Speech and we might say it is a ship of tools or a Dreadnought".
