Generation Skillz program was implemented in between 2010 and 2012. The focus of the program was to enable young people from the age of 15-19 to make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual reproductive health, reducing their risk of HIV infections and be supported appropriately by their communities. The goal of the project was aimed at improving livelihoods and make informed decisions about SRH that lead to healthy lives and actively participate in decision-making processes on issues affecting their lives. The programme was evaluated against five broad themes thus relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. In doing so the evaluation adopted cross sectional study design employing qualitative and quantitative data collection methods to measure the program outcomes and impacts.The programme was highly relevant. The appropriateness of the programme was visibly observed through its targeting of the programme beneficiaries. The programme was noted to be effective in facilitating the availability of and increasing access to SRH, HIV AND AIDS information and services, increasing awareness and knowledge of SRH, HIV and AIDS information.
