In India, the population growth associated with unplanned development activities led to urbanization that lacks infrastructure equipment. It also posed a serious impact on resources. Urbanization occurs either radially around a well-established city or linearly along the roads. The impact of urban sprawl leads to the change of land use and land cover in the region.
