But the flowers themselves are also a means to talk about her life - about the experiences one might have throughout one's life - without the exhibitionism that someone like Imogen cannot stand. Other flowers - other poems - could be added, but these are the ones the author felt comfortable sharing at this point. May they be sufficient for the enjoyment of the reader.
