"Boko Haram Insurgency and Sustainable Development in Nigeria," is an informative, descriptive and analytical work on terrorism in Nigeria. The book is divided into five chapters. Chapter one is the introductory section, which entails aim and objectives, scope and significance of the study, and conceptual framework. Chapter two concentrates on the evolution of Boko Haram. It covers issues such as, historical perspective, ideology, external links, finances and sponsors, causes and tactics of the sect. Third chapter is an expository study of the impact of Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria, especially North - Eastern region. The involvement of women and children in Boko Haram insurgency is the focus of the fourth chapter. In chapter five, the book concludes with the analysis of historical data and findings useful for government officials, decision/ policy makers, scholars and other interested persons.
