Insurgency has been on the increase in Nigeria now with the alarming rate of terrorist attacks perpetrated by the Boko Haram members in the north-east of Borno, Yobe and Adamawa particularly and with spatial occurrences in Kano, Bauchi, Plateau, Kastina and Abuja the federal capital territory. This has necessitated the declaration of a state of emergency in the three most affected states (Borno, Yobe and Adamawa) by the federal government with a heavy military presence and curfew in order to reduce attacks and curtail the sect's onslaughts.
