O knihe
Issues of Refugee Protection are very topical in International law, as it becomes the responsibility of every actor engaged in the protection of refugees in ensuring that these categories of persons in the soceity should be accorded maximum protection. The UNHCR being the main actor in the protection of refugee on the international scene in collaboration with other actors, plays a vital role when it comes to issues related to refugee rights. As the 1951 Refugee Convention has stated in its article 1(A) that everyone who is considered as a refugee should be protected by those States where the refugees seeks refuge, and under no condition should such refugee be send back if the said person will faced persecution and torture. The problem here is that, even though the Refugee law has provided the various categories of persons who are considered as refugee, their protection continue to be problematic as they continue facing violations on their fundametal human right placing a doubt as to the credibility on the various refugees instruments. The protection of refugees in the International scene continue to be a common hallucillation.
