While on leave just before his first assignment to SE Asia he's enjoying civilian life for a few days prior to his departure. In a chance encounter at a casual restaurant; he meets a young lady that he spontaneously nicknames, 'Cotton Top' because of her beautiful white hair. Over the next few days, they fall madly in love with each other.
