Parasitism is a common problem in free range chicken in Kenya since they are kept outdoors, and this exposes them to various parasites infections. Ecto- and Endo-parasites vary in both dry and wet seasons within different regions of Kenya and this is an important consideration in their control. Different commercially available anthelmintics have different efficacies against various helminthes . This study evaluated the effectiveness of Piperazine citrate, Levamisole HCL and Albendazole.
