This book presents the development of a research work carried out in the municipality of Soacha in Colombia. The objective is to demonstrate that child participation is a structural element of social and community transformation. For this, it is necessary to consider the child as a political subject, that is, as a subject fully entitled to the effective enjoyment of his or her rights. The integral development of all children, based on play as a pillar of formation and growth, is the teleological sense that determined the pedagogical proposal presented here.
