Enraged, the Spanish set out to destroy what they don't understand. The Spanish attack with much slaughter. Wasakaka, the native king, is holed up with the survivors in his fortress. A deal is struck and the Spanish are taken to the legendary city of El Dorado. Outsmarted by the natives, Clotbo returns in disgrace to Spain to await his fate and a surprise.
