His life covered a period from 1827 to 1919. Many of the world's important events were embraced in the period in which he lived. His is a place of distinction in the annals of Tennessee. Judge Green was endeared not only to his immediate friends, but to many throughout the country who have felt the obligation of his valuable and painstaking tutelage in their early lives.
