The tired monk rises everyday and cares for the novices, and his beloved Abbess. He'll dash away to write a poem, or play his guitar, but the monk duties must be performed. The works are primarily Inspired by the beat writers Gary Snyder, Jack Kerouac, and the Zen poets of Japan. Tips from a few brother monks have helped him hone his craft. These collected works have been gathered from fifteen years of scattered notebook writings.
