IN the autumn of 1867, finding dis established, but happily not altogether dis endowed - after thirty years' grind in official life~ - and there being much to induce me to make an extended tour in the United States, Wh ere a number of my Wife's relatives and connections resided, our passage was taken in the Cunard s.s. Cuba, to sail for Boston on the 27th of September in that year.
