In Tanzania air transport is still at an infancy stage and is characterized by small and large domestic air line companies such as Fast Jet, Precision air and costal aviation. In particular those companies have experienced low number of passengers traveling with their airlines, the number is small compared to expected demand given the growth of the economy. In this regard this research seeks to determine air transport demand. Aviation stakeholders, civil aviation, aviation companies can use this research in building up their plans.
