O knihe
In the last three decades Nigeria has continued to serve as a significant theatre for the dramatisation of Islam and Christianity, especially since the beginning of the 20th century. The principal objective of this book is to identify the causes of the so-called ethno-religious conflicts and point out some prospects for Christian-Muslim relationship. Popular opinion refers to these conflicts as religious conflicts based on the assumption that religious and ethnic differences are to blame for the conflicts. This author identifies other underlying reasons for the conflicts. The focus is on Kaduna State, one of the thirty-six states of the Nigerian federation. The book ends by recommending some practical prospects for interreligious dialogue.
