O knihe
Most of the social conflicts happening around the fifteen century as well these recent decades in Africa and Asia are related to the human nature. The relevance of dignity, which is an aspect of human nature, and regarded as a source of vengeance in three of William Shakespeare's tragedies Hamlet, Macbeth and Titus Andronicus, is my concern. The way the playwright makes his characters act along the three plays offers some useful suggestions as if there were no better way to save one's dignity without bloodshed. This book thus, involves the plotting of the context that provides the setting in which the thoughts of the playwright of the three tragedies are to be understood. Trying to understand the thoughts of Shakespeare in the exordium required an exegetical analysis of each play and its characters' behaviors. This allows to come at an end it is one's Pride, Selfishness, and Face-saving as dimensions of dignity and their emergence in different forms which draw to vengeance, revenge and social conflicts.
