FUNDATION CHEMISTRY makes available the new orientation and findings of the research produced as a matter of first priority, this book seeks to aid teachers who are embarking on teaching the new chemistry curriculum recently introduced by the NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (NERDC). The research centers on investigating the effect of ball-and-stick model on students¿ academic performance in senior secondary school in Taraba State, north Eastern- zone Nigeria, four research objective and four research question guided the study. Four research hypotheses were formulated and Quasi- experimental research design was used for the study.The population of study consisted of 530 Senior Secondary II chemistry students in Bali Education Zone, simple random sampling was used by balloting for section of participated school and the sample of eighty (80) students with thirty-five (35) students in experimental group and forty-five (45) students in the control group using intact classroom. Questionnaire was used as an instrument for the data collection. The study intended to use all the students in a class for data collection.
