Household pesticides have been used for a long time for our daily use. They generally used on the kitchen floor to kill or repel the insects like ant, cockroach. The used pesticides are washed out from the drainage system and can fall in nearby agricultural fields especially in the village area. This book deals with the effectiveness of some common pesticides on plants grown on agricultural land. The cytological and biochemical assay has been done to study the effect of the pesticides on selected plants. In silico study also have done to understand the probable binding and molecular effect on plant system. On another approach, a solution to the problem is proposed by preparing herbal chalk to repel the insects.
