Electrolytes play a vital role in all electrochemical devices such as batteries, fuel cells, electrochromic display, sensors etc. These are classified as solid polymer electrolytes and liquid electrolytes. Solid polymer electrolytes have advantages over liquid electrolytes like flexibility, no leakage, takes different shapes etc., Nano filler such as ZrO2, TiO2, SiO2 etc., incorporated solid polymer electrolytes are known as Nanocomposite polymer electrolytes. The addition of nanofiller enhances the mechanical strength and ionic conductivity. In the present study, the nanofiller ZrO2 is added to the solid polymer electrolyte PVA:NH4PF6 and subjected to electrical studies.
