Energy harvesting is a promising technique that can help to solve the global energy challenge without draining natural resources. As one of the green energy solutions, energy harvesting can reduce greenhouse gas emission generated with traditional energy sources. Energy harvesting is the mechanism of collecting and trapping the little amount of energy from the ambient energy sources like, light, wind, vibration, heat and radio frequency (RF). In wireless sensor node the energy harvesting is the best option to provide the continuous power supply by removing the periodic maintenance and recharging or replacing of the batteries. This book address the electromagnetic energy harvesting method around the current carrying conductor. The methodology of this system is utilized to absorb the magnetic field energy around the AC current carrying conductor for energizing the low power energy monitoring sensor.
