O knihe
The book is about the interaction of charged particles with the ferroelectric medium in terms of energy loss EL measurements for both light and heavy particles at different energies in ferroelectrics, ferromagnets, and polymers. Computer coding is programmed using python and other computer simulation programs like SRIM, PSTAR, and ASTAR are available freely are used to estimate the loss of energy of the charged particle. The information is used to develop qualitatively a possible model for the transmission of charged particles through the ferroelectric medium. The EL measurements of protons, electrons, and alpha particles were considered to bring out the range dependence of the effect of order at a short range on the energy loss. The EL were measured in two different classes of ferroelectrics (BT displacive and TGS order-disorder) with a view to understanding the role of unit cell dipole moment and that of the mechanism of dielectric polarisation in a ferroelectric on the critical energy loss. An understanding of the role of ferromagnetic phase transition on EL may give some clues for understanding the effect of ferroelectric phase transition on EL.
