The study is aimed at evaluating effectiveness of ASEI/PDSI as teaching-learning methods of chemistry in selected secondary schools. It is of good assistance to teachers to create a habit where they would improve on the obsolete teaching methods, use adequate, modern and relevant instructional materials and textbooks at their disposal to the fullest. It provides feedback on failures and seeks ways of improving them. The effectiveness in use of available resources by students in relation to chemistry performance was evaluated and suggestions on how to increase efficiency put forward. The methods of doing experiments, observation skills, measurements, manipulation and analyzing experimental data among others assists students in boosting their morale and work harder.Finally, the government and parents are sponsors in the provision of secondary school education benefits from the findings. The curriculum developers are able to get the feedback of the new syllabus in relation to ASEI/PDSI models.
