O knihe
In this book, the author is exploring the existing different models of K-12 blended learning to find the best model for Egypt's educational system that can be applied as a successful pilot project in the current infrastructure in Egypt. Taking into consideration the socio-economic changes happening in Egypt in the last few years, investments and the efforts exerted in the pre and post revolution periods in the field of ICT, in order to assist the Ministry of Education in reforming and transforming its current education system. The suggested model will be able to solve many challenges facing the Egyptian education system. In addition, it will allow the students to shift from passive to active learning and focus on higher order thinking skills. They will be able to access key content individual or in small groups prior to class time and then interact face to face in larger groups to explore content through active learning techniques. This model will allow students to take more responsibility for their own learning and grow more independently, which will improve their human performance, interaction and productivity in order to move from the knowledge economy to the knowledge society.
