It is thus renowned from a foreign portfolio investment by a notion of direct control. The origin of the investment does not have effect on the definition, as an FDI: the investment may be made either "inorganically" by buying a company in the target country or "organically" by expanding the operations of an existing business in that country.Women Entrepreneur means "Woman or a group of women who initiate, organize, and operate a business enterprise" can be defined as a "Woman or a group of women who originate, organize, and run a business enterprise." Women entrepreneurs are classified by the Indian government as women who participate in the ownership and employment of a firm. Accordingly, a woman-run business is defined as "an operation owned and controlled by a woman with a minimum financial interest of 51 percent of the capital and providing at least 51 percent of the enterprise's employment to women." Women entrepreneurs account for 10% of the total number of entrepreneurs in the country.
