Examinations of insects and eggs were carried out using a Russian mec-10 stereoscope and an entomological magnifying glass with 4x magnification. Eggs were examined at l0x magnification. Measurements are given to mm and were taken using a long ruler and a digital caliper. Measurements of type specimens are listed separately. If not differently cited, the colouration of insects is described from dried specimens. In these cases attention needs to be drawn as specimens may have changed colour after preservation.
