O knihe
Bone fracture of hand is a common injury. The share of fractures of the bones of the hand accounts for about 35% of all traumatic injuries to the skeletal system. Usually, the cause of a bone fracture of the hand is a blow to the hand or a fall with a stress on the hand.Anatomy. The hand consists of 27 bones, which are subdivided into the group of bones of the wrist, the group of metacarpal bones, and the group of bones of the phalanges of the fingers. Eight short spongy carpal bones are arranged in two rows (four bones in each row). The top row, if you go from the fifth finger to the I, consists of pisiform, trihedral, lunate, and navicular bones, the bottom row consists of the hooked, capitate, trapezoid, and polygonal. The three bones of the upper row of the wrist (except the pisiform) are connected to the radius, forming the radiocarpal joint. The bones of the lower row of the wrist articulate with the long tubular metacarpal bones, which, in turn, are connected to the bones of the proximal (located closer to the body) phalanges of the fingers.
