In the first chapter, the description about survey site is discussed and in chapter two, I had tried to discuss the structure and function of HIV and also try to elaborate the current status of AIDS in INDIA. Various myths are found among general public, it was found during the survey. There is also much social awareness about AIDS and a number of non-governmental organizations are taking keen interest in educating people and helping them. Realizing the importance of this health hazard an investigations about its awareness among students was undertaken.
