O knihe
International migration is a major phenomenon in the world today. The ever-increasing world population, which has doubled in one generation, on a planet made up of disparities, has brought Thomas Malthus' famous theory back to the forefront. The populations of disadvantaged regions are more confronted with poverty, misery and various forms of crisis. Faced with these difficulties, a significant number of people have developed a penchant for international migration in the hope of finding favorable living conditions outside their country of origin. In this context, many people cross borders in several regions of the world, legally or illegally. In Africa, migration flows are developing and intensifying, mainly within the continent. Internal migration is estimated to account for eighty percent (80%) of total migration. Countries enjoying relative political stability and benefiting from a crossroads position like Cameroon are at the heart of these migratory flows.
