O knihe

Pseudomoas aeruginosa is one of the most common Gram-negative human pathogens in nosocomial infections. It is the major agent of infection in immunocompromised patients, cystic fibrosis patients, the patients suffering from burn and chemotherapy patients. Because of the extensive inherent and acquired resistance to a broad range of antibiotics, it seems the control and treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates are vital. The main aims of this study were to formulate and characterize the entrapment of alginate, detoxified LPS (D-LPS) and Exotoxin A (ETA) into PLGA nanoparticles, individually, and to investigate the biological activities of the vaccine candidates. The present report demonstrated that the conjugation of the bacterial antigens to PLGA nanoparticle will increase the functional activities of them by decrease the bacterial dissemination and increase killing of opsonized bacteria. It could be an appropriate vaccine candidate against diseases caused by P.aeruginosa.
