Enormous research has been carried out all over the globe to encompass the technical excellence of dc motor into more rugged induction motors. Among the various inventions, indirect vector control (IVC) and direct torque control (DTC) methods became the most popular in industry, meeting the requirement of wide speed range and fast torque response.
