A follow-up of the V.L.I feed at the level of four dairy farms was carried out to study the impact of this product on the dairy cows during the swimming period. Carried out at the Nouvelle Minoterie Africaine (N.M.A) Sanders with the objectives of a good control of the manufacturing process of the feed from the raw material to the finished product; a good quality control in the laboratory with different bromatological tests such as the test of moisture, fat, proteins and ashes. And finally going to the field and designing a questionnaire to collect information. The feeding of dairy cows is often poorly controlled and rations remain unbalanced with quantities distributed that do not meet the needs of lactating cows. The consequences of this situation affect the performance of milk production, which remains low. The dependence of farms on concentrates is significant.
