The text "Resistencia indígena, opción de paz" by Álvaro Villarraga Sarmiento explores in a historical vision the experiences of resistance of the Colombian indigenous movement, who after the defense of their territories and cultures, assumes the progressive rejection of war through growing forms of peaceful civil resistance, as its own and original option that connects with its interest -coincident with that of other expressions of society- in the achievement of peace.
