O knihe
Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is the first plant ever to be cultivated and has played a key role in man's economic and social development until today. Cereal rusts are the most serious diseases of cultivated plants, because of their ability to move for a long distance and their ability to form new virulent races causing serious losses equivalent to about 10% of the world grain crop per year. Chemical compounds or their degradation products are toxic to plant invaders, causative agents or vectors of plant diseases. So, the search for new harmless means of disease control is strongly needed.Induced resistance is the phenomenon by which the plant can utilize own defense mechanism to increase the level of resistance without changing plant genome.Several natural and synthetic chemical agents have been described as activators of defense - related processes when applied to plants. Some of these activators may have potential application in Agriculture. At the cellular level these defense reactions are preceded by some changes including reactive oxygen species (ROS ). obtained results revealed that,The highest effect was observed when plants treated with KH2PO4 followed by ß-ABA.
